This rust preventative membrane ensure that exfoliation of the steel surfaces do not occur, no rust creep is present and the salt spray resistance of the painted surface is increased. Above waterline application is preferred. Due to the intumescent character and low odour, maintenance can be done with shipmates on board and the non-toxic nature ensure that if heat or fire is present gasses emitted will not affect the crew.
